This is the largest order of Spanish-made tank containers since the 1980s.
This ISO-certified equipment is intended for intermodal transport. They have a capacity of 29300 liters, are made of stainless steel and can be stackable.
The first units have already started to be shipped by rail from Zaragoza to different parts of Europe. These containers will help to reduce CO2 emissions and contribute to environmentally sustainable transport as they will travel mainly by rail.
This major project is in addition to other major projects that Eurocontainer has manufactured, such as the 1000 bitumen containers (bitucontainers) in 2014 or the 1600 containers for renewable energies in 2020, among others.
